İHKİB GİY is a Non-Profit Apparel Innovation Competition and Education Platform for university students from all disciplines. The aim of the
competition is to encourage, gather and educate students to design innovative apparel projects with sustainability and social insights via
design-thinking methods within interdisciplinary teams. It takes place in digital with the contributions of Turkish Ministry of Commerce, YÖK,
TİM, İHKİB, İHKİB Education Foundation.
I started off as the Visual Designer, designed the whole new visual identity. Logo itself symbolizes the competition with different length hangers. It is implied first, second and third placement which are
crucially important places with grateful awards. The logo constitute a turnout which reminds people a raceway and a turning point: an innovative approach. A motto called "Lets form the innovative turnout of
ready-wear" used for PR purposes. For each discipline a different color used and it is symbolized that beyond being a competiton, this is an
embracing platform which brings differences (different cities, universities, disciplines and students) together, makes them work and
create under İHKİB GİY Education Platform.
With the light of this identity, I designed the interactive materials students and jury used such as
Student Road-map Booklet, Team Identity Cards, Team Evaluation Chart, Idea Assessment Chart, Jury Manual, Resources, Project Proposal Form,
Competition Poster, Academic Project Posters, Competition Teaser, Leaflet and Rollup
In this project I was holding the coordination role. In coordination with social media agency, I created
the creative content and art directed the social media posts.
